Tis the day before Friday!!! I can't believe how long this week has seemed and and the fact that its not quite over yet is discouraging, but I have a good weekend to look forward to. What are you guy doin? I hope its something fun!

GlamBag Wednesday...

As you can see from the title I got my GlamBag today! I was really looking forward to it, simply because of how awesome last months was. After being puked on by my bag though I was less ecstatic ( the face mask that was in my bag had popped open during transit and choose that moment to spit up most of the rest of its contents) nonetheless I was very pleased with my bag and look forward to trying all the different products in the very near future! be sure to check out my YouTube channel for a video on all the goodies I got from MyGlam this month ( http://www.youtube.com/user/ThatGreeneyedGirl24?feature=mhee ) As far as how my classes have been going, its only day two and I already feel a bit overwhelmed. It dosent help that I have been working so much overtime lately (already clocked in 39 hours in the past three days, and I am scheduled to work overtime tommorrow as well). For the most part I really don't mind working that much, but its the after getting off and still having homework to do and being dead tired thats the problem. After having 5 weeks off I knew there would be an adjustment to getting back into the swing of things again, so I am crossing my fingers that things start to go more smoothly. Right about now I would put in what shoes I wore today, but I must admit that I wore boots again today. Not the same as yesterday but one's that I have already posted a picture of and I was totally not motivated enough to take a picture tonight. As for the makeup I am wearing, I am still trying out my ELF cosmetics foundation and must say that I am plesently suprised as to how it is holding up. I didn't have much expectations from a $3.00 foundation but so far I am really liking how it makes my skin look. I am also rediscovering my love for the Naked Pallette from Urban Decay. I loved this when I bought it and wore it quite often for some time, then moved on to other things, but now I am back and still totally in love with this product. Thats all for tonight I think! Snow boots Tuesday

It snowed here last night, actually it Iced here last night, so today I wore snow boots:

Today I was really Really missing spring time and so I wore a spring inspired makeup look:

I really fun lavandar and purple eye makeup, from using the petal pusher palette from wet N' wild. I love it, Stay tuned for a tutorial on my Channel very soon!

Manic Mondays

Actually today wasn't that manic at all. In honor of MLK a lot of people had the day off today, schools were closed, places of business were closed, but Nanny's still have to work and this is how excited I was about that:

Actually this is usually what I look like when I get up....I know scary right. I usually sleep with a sleep mask on, on the weekends since I sleep in later and the sun coming in through my window is blinding. The kids let me sleep in a little bit today but not much, then we had a quiet day just playing around the house. It was actually pretty nice. But having them home all days makes my life a little bit more hectic since I have to entertain them, and make sure they don't kill each other all day. Needless to say I am pretty tired and my bed beckoning behind me is looking pretty good right about now. Tommorrow my classes officially begin which means I am going to need all the sleep I can get tonight.

Sundays are for doin what you what!

Today was one to those Sunday's were you sit down at the end and you say "now where the heck did my day go..." I was very tired today and did everything super lethargicly, which means that it took me three hours to get ready for my date with Mr. Friday. Three hours thats crazy, I didnt even do anything that special, Showered- yes, straighten hair-yes, makeup-normal. And yet it took me three hours.... strange. We went and seen "Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol" with Tom Cruise. It was actually very good, better than the third one that's for sure. I wonder if Tom Cruise has a clause in his contract that says he has to have a running scene in every movie that he does. He does running very VERY well! We then spent two hours talking over dinner, it was reallly nice. For tonights look I went simple, no bronzer just a simple pink and brown eye with a light pink blush:

I achieved this look by placing a medium pink all over my lid. Then with a medium soft grey I blended out the pink in my crease and on my brow bone. On the outer V I placed a slightly shimmery brown. With a soft cream white as my highlight and black eyeliner and mascara. I really like this soft and easy look for dates, it shows off the best versions of myself! But I wonder if there is some sort Guy code that says you shouldn't compliment a girl too much (or at all) "hey she might get a BIG head". Mr.Friday if you are reading this a girl likes to hear things like that, hearing compliments and what not! I had a great day overall but tomorrow is Monday :( and I am staying up late to try and avoid it as much as possible :) Stay tuned for a new tutorial on my YouTube channel Coming Soon!

A productive day....

I love lazy Saturday afternoons! I got so much accomplished today. I cleaned out my closet and donated like 1/2 of my clothes (those that I no longer fit into, in a good way! or things I haven't worn in a long long time)



it looks a little empty now, time for some SHOPPING!!!

I also did some shoppig today (only a small amount), for some makeup stuff I have had my eye on for awhile now;

 And I still had time to get ready for my Saturday night:

I look like a freak, I know. LOL The things we girls go through for beauty right! I hope you guys had as fun a Saturday Night as I did!!

Freaky Friday!!

Happy Friday the 13th Y'all. I hope a black cat didn't walk in front of you today! I am a big fan of all things that have to do with Halloween so today was right up my alley! But unfortunatly nothing in the least bit scary or even that exciting.... boo hoo. Like a red headed stepchild...

That's how I am feeling today. Thursdays always feel so blah to me, your finally through the hurdle of the middle of the week and are anxious to get to the weekend but you still have to deal with Thursday before that can happen. YUCK. Anyways I did two fun videos for YouTube last night; the "Whats in my Bag?" tag and the "Get to know me" tag they were a lot of fun to film and edit. They are also a great way for people to (hopefully) get to know me. A lot of times I feel as though I am talking to no one... "Hello, is anyone out there, it's me Stephanie" ....... silence...... feels like I can hear crickets chirping lol. I don't really mind if no one watches to be honest I do it more for myself than for other people (except maybe my sister, who needs some SERIOUS makeup advice:). Speaking of makeup, I took a new look for a test drive today:

What do you think? Perhaps I will wear this the next time Mr.Friday and I get together (which by the way I have no idea when that will be...Stay tuned). This has been a long work week for me, I have had two night of overtime already and am already scheduled to work late again tonight, sure makes me glad that the weekend is so close! I just have to remember that tomorrow is FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY lol!

*What shoes am I wearing today you might be asking yourself; well its raining here in NY today so I am wearing tennis shoes again, but I promise that they are a different pair then my GYM shoes I wore yesterday these are just plain white sneakers(way to boring to post a picture of).

Lots to Say Wednesday....

As the title states I have alot ot say today... People have been asking me lately what the rules are for my list. Each one has a rule of some sort. For example:

#1 Read 150 books - has to be a book I never read before and more than 150 pages (magazines don't count)
#2 Reach my goal weight- Those with the medical degrees say that for my height (short) I should weigh 119 pounds, I think my boobs alone weigh 119 therefore I think a reachable goal is 130 (don't even get me started on how I can achieve that)
#3 Buy an expensive pair of shoes- self explanitory
#4 Get a new Tattoo- I have two already but want another, They are so addictive once you start its hard to stop.
#5 Go skinny dipping- again self explanitory (but sounds like fun right!)
#6 Sleep under the stars- I usually dont like camping but for one night I would like to sleep with no tent but me and the stars
#7 Throw a fancy party- I always love those adds in magazines that show fancy place settings and people all dressed in their sunday best, I am going to do this to celebrate my birthday this way!
#8 Run a 5k- I used to run all the time, but with school and the job I don't run as much as I used to so this semester even with school I want to run a 5K
#9 Volunteer- I want to give more
#10 Learn a new hobby- like guitar or underwater basket weaving
#11 Let Go- Baggage always heavy and never very fun to carry around
#12 Be spontaneous-I am a planner, a list maker who hardly ever does anything that can be constituted as spontaneous but one day I would like to jump up and do something just because it sounds like fun.
#13 Make a friend- A new one
#14 Do something that scares me- Overcoming a fear can be (hopefully) libarating
#15 Wear high heels for a normal day- explanitary
#16 Help a stranger- what a great story it would be if I could help someone deliver a baby or help someone change their tire or something like that
#17 Blog everyday- Obvious
#18 Stop biting my nails- a nasty habit but something I have been doing since I was a little kid I REALLY REALLY want to stop doing this
#19 Learn to surf
#20 Ride in a helicopter- once in a lifetime right!
#21 Make the Dean's list- this one is expecially important to me since I am the first one in my family to go to college
#22 Learn enough of another language to be able to hold a conversation
#23 Swim with dolphins- Going to HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!
#24 Make it count- whatever it is make it count
#25 Wear a different pair of shoes everyday- Have to be different from the ones I wore the day before ( lets face it I dont have enough shoes to wear a different pair each day for the next 6 months)
#26 Get 8 Hours of sleep each night- I am an insomniac suffer but I am trying hard to get into bed and lay there for 8 hours each night

Whew that was long; and now for an update: so far I have read 8 books I have worn 7 different pairs of shoes and I have blogged every single day, GO ME!!!
