Technical difficulties.....

Last night I was having serious computer difficulties so I hope you will be grudge me the fact that last night I did not post a blog. I am calling in one of my three strikes (used only in extreme situations). Anyways, today was a beautiful day here in NY, it felt like spring! It was glorious. Today I wore a pair of brown heeled boots. I am not going to post a picture because I am going to do a video on my shoe collection, which I am working on as we speak, and I really want all of you guys to check that out! This week seems to be taking a LONG LONG time. I hop you all are having a wonderful week!

• I am really enjoying my Econ class this semester.
• I also did some future planning with school, and realized that I only have two and 1/2 semesters left of classes!!!! WAHOO!!!!

Slippers Make for Warm Toes....

I love slippers. They make my toes feel all warm and cozy! Here's what I don't love, spending my afternoon taking a Econ Quiz. I woke up this morning to an email from my Econ professor "Surprise" it said "Pop quiz". Not the kind of surprise I like :( But that's okay because there were a ton of good movies on T.V today, so it kind of made up for the fact that I spent a couple of hours taking the quiz. Back to the slippers, I have a couple pairs of slippers and must admit that they are often my favorite pair of "shoes" to wear. Today I choose to wear my leopard print slippers (I was feeling a bit frisky!)

I typically don't wear makeup on Sunday's either. Occasionally I will try out something for a video but today I was preoccupied with numerous things besides school. Men, my future, and my family. Anyone else find themselves particularly contemplative on Sundays? I hope to have a bunch of new videos filmed this week!

Steph's TidBits:

• This weeks episode of "Once Upon a Time" was surprisingly good! Although the snake part was terribly gross.
• I enjoyed a yummy dinner of homemade pizza!
• I am in LOVE with the Eos lip balm in Lemon Drop.... so good!

This day did not go according to plan. I had to wake up super early and I do mean SUPER, as in 5:30 in the morning. Way to early in my opinion. My class on Saturday mornings starts at 8:00 and is a 30 minute drive from my house and I stop for a coffee before I get there. It makes for one very long mornng. After class I always go to Barnes and Noble for a coffee and to have some quiet time to do some homework. Today, Mr.Friday and I had arranged to have lunch. I had wore a really cute outfit and done my makeup a little more dramatic then I normally wear for school, expecting to spend the entire afternoon and evening with him. But after only 3 hours he was ready to part ways. I have to be honest that I am not sure exactly what is happening with him. I was dissapointed and had nothing to do for the rest of the day.... how boring :( Now I am watching a movie and working on homework, something I feel I have been doing a ton lately. What am I watching? Kung Fu Panda 2 of course! I hope you all had a better weekend then I have so far!!

• A song on constant replay on my Ipod lately has been the Glee version of "We found love" I am in love with this song! and the show!!
• I have had three cups of green tea tonight, I cant seem to get enough of it!
• One of my classes this semester is Money and banking, knowing all the behind the scenes stuff about the bank makes me think differently about how my money is handled. Get educated on how your money is being secured, it will save you in the long run.
• For shoes today I wore my lepord print converse. One of my favorite pairs of shoes. Sadley I noticed a hole in one of them Boo Hoo :(

Rain, Rain Go Away.....

And please don't come another day. I am so tired of the rain. At this point I would almost prefer snow, almost. Once again its raining here in NY and I am tired of wearing rain boots and having my mascara run down my face haft way through the day. To top it all off because it was such a rough work week, instead of going to a party I was looking forward to tonight, I am stuck at home doing homework. Like some 14 year old teachers pet I am sitting diligently at my desk reading about cultural differentials and ROIs (returns on investments). Sometimes life is just no fun :( but tomorrow is a new day and the weather man promises NO rain. And if it does rain I am going to hunt him down and make him be the subject of one of my makeup tutorials on YouTube....trust me it won't be pretty. Back to the books.....

I can't believe how long this day was. At around 9 o'clock this morning I was ready for it to be over. But I struggled through and finally it is the end of the day.

I have no new news to tell y'all today other than the fact that today I did wear heels, Brown ones.

• I am loving "Face Off" on the scfy channel. The special effects makeup is amazing.
• My printer died yesterday and I had to go buy a new one today. I was totally overwhelmed with the choices, They should have a sign that says "HEY THIS ONE's the BEST, BUY IT"
• Seeing commercials for DQ always makes me crave Ice Cream

The day after Monday...

is Tuesday, an unfortunate day that is often overlooked in the course of the week. Today I was working on alot of homework so my eyes were a little sore ( I am suppossed to wear glasses when I am reading and working on the computer) so I wore my glasses for most of the day

LOL this picture make me look as if I have mickey ears or something. I wore sneakers again today. I am having a hard time fitting heels into my everyday outfit routine. Working such a "homebody" job makes it hard to dress up enough to make heels make sense. This is something I need to ponder. I am very tired tonight, I have been sleeping terrible lately. Keep a lookout on my YouTube channel for a bunch of new videos soon!

• Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream its soooooo good for dinner!
• My cat has been so needy today she crawled into a box that I was taking to the Post Office and would not get out untill I played with her for a little whille lol!
• I am one of those super organized people, I have a color coded dry erase calendar that I use to keep track of all my homework and tests.

Oh man its Monday again.

This is what I wanted to do ALLLLLLL day today. I was so jealous of the babies getting to laz around all day. I went really simple for fashion and makeup today. I also wore sneakers today since it was really really rainy here in NY today. Such strange weather we are having.

Crap this picture makes me look like I am not wearing any makeup at all. I was I promise. I went simple brown today. Now I think I am going to take a break from studying and snuggle up with Thor! It's MOVIE TIME!!!!!!

Lazy Days, and Football Games....

Ahhh Sunday. After getting home so late last night that I slept in this morning, till like 10. After spending some of the morning studying for school (I am such a good student !!), I spent the rest of the mid afternoon filming a video about my closet for my YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/ThatGreeneyedGirl24?feature=guide). I really love sharing my tips and tricks for keeping things organized. One thing I think is important is to always remember that even though you might not have the biggest amount of space, its how you use your space that's important. Now the Patriots are playing the Ravens and I am watching the game. I am a big sports fan (baseball mostly, but I do watch football occasionally, especially when the Giants are in the playoffs). The big game is tonight though, the Giants vs. 49ers. I am very excited! I should have done a makeup look for today's game, but since I am staying home to watch the game, I probably wont even wear any makeup (scandalous right!). I hope you guys are having a great weekend!

• While filming the video I pointed out my French bottle of wine, now I REALLY want to drink it. But I am saving it for a special occasion
• I love how excited people get so excited about sporting events
• Yesterday was my Mom's b-day, and I have been battling a sever case of homesickness all weekend. I don't normally get that way but I have been noticing it a lot more lately :(

*Oh my shoes, I noticed I didn't post what I was wearing last night either (might be because I was a little buzzed last night when I was writing that post lol). I wore my black boots last night. And today I am wearing slippers! No actually thats not true most of the day I have spent bare foot, My favorite pair of shoes!!

Sushi for dinner...

Is there anything better? Not for me there isnt. I absolutly love sushi, which is surprising since I come from such a small town, one where you mention raw fish and get the same gagging reaction everytime. The truth is I reacted much the same way for most of my life but once I got over the fact that it was fish (something I REALLY REALLY don't like) I was plesantly surprised by how much I did actually like it, and it started me on my adventure to try everything life has to offer. Since then I have been a try everything at least once kinda girl. So tonight Mr.Friday and I are braving the snow and headed in search of the perfect sushi dinner, and it just so happens that I know the perfect place!

*We also went and seen a movie, Haywire, which was actually terrible, and then we stopped and had a drink, which lasted for 3 hours. It was actually quite wonderful. I can't remember the last time I felt like I was actully 25 instead of feeling like the mother of three children (which I am not). It is now about 1 in the morning and I got home about 30 minutes ago, so technically this is not posted on Saturday but I am going to say that since a I haven't been to sleep yet that it's still Saturday.

Wait, what is going on...

Its 6:30 and it is snowing like crazy here in NY. Still no word about whether or not my class is cancelled so I am still getting ready, but if I get the word right before I have to leave.... This little girl is going to do some damage. Shoes, Snow boots, YUCK.
